  2. Keep your password handy. If you have stored your password in a secure location, like your password manager or your browser, retrieve it now and keep it handy. It will be required for re-authentication if you are not using biometrics. As a last resort, if you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. See What if I forgot my password?

As a last resort, if you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. Please keep the following in mind when you are resetting your password.
  1. The password reset link is valid for 1 hour.
  2. Resetting your password regenerates your encryption keys. After reset, you may notice some conversations remain encrypted. These conversations will decrypt eventually once the NetSfere app synchronized your account. In some cases, you may have to wait for other conversation participants to access their app to help complete the synchronization process.
  3. If you have any self-conversations (conversations where you are the only participant), you must export that data prior to resetting your password or you may lose access to that conversation/chat.
You can reset your password here.
